Day 1.
Our rafting trip starts with the
pick up of passengers at 8:30 am on the prearranged location, then take the
road to the south Valley of Cusco for about two hours, to finally arrive at our
private camp, where we will show the access to all our service facilities such
as sauna, dining room, dressing rooms, cold and hot showers and toilets. We
will hand the passengers the necessary equipment such as rafting wetsuit,
windbreaker jackets, helmets and life jackets and paddles. Once the passengers
changed clothes and stored their belongings in the lockers, we board our
transport to take us to the start of the rafting trip. It takes about 10
minutes before we arrive at the top of the section of the river called Cusipata
with rapids class I, II+. Previously we provide a safety briefing and technical
navigation in the river so the passengers are well trained for the rafting.
After completing the rafting trip we head to our campsite to enjoy a nice
lunch, accompanied with hot and cold beverages, and the passengers may use the
services mentioned before. After this we visit a small Quechua village to
observe the daily activities of local people. At the end of the day we set up
our tents for our overnight at the camp where we will have diner and in the
night be able to make a campfire to enjoy a wonderful night and end our first
day.
